Otto Billstrom

Otto Billström is the Head of Modern Decorative Art & Design at Bonhams London. His interests and expertise span Gothic Revival, Arts & Crafts, and Art Deco through to Post-Modernism and Contemporary craft, adding to his hereditary love of Scandinavian Decorative Art and Design.

Before joining Bonhams, Otto was based at Essex based auctioneers Sworders, where he managed the quarterly Design sales and successfully curated several high-profile collections, including the estate of Max Clendinning and Ralph Adron in 2024, the estate of Clive Wainwright in 2023, and a significant multi-auction collection of Doulton Lambeth wares.

Otto began his career at Stockholms Auktionsverk in Sweden, where he served as a general valuer and revitalised the Pop-Culture and Musical Instruments sales. He holds both an MA and a BA in History of Art from the University of East Anglia.
