
Lucie Kessler
Lucie Kessler is a Specialist, Head of Sale for the Photographs department at Bonhams New York. Prior to joining the Bonhams team in 2023, Lucie was an Associate Specialist in the Photographs department at Sotheby's New York.
While at Sotheby's, Lucie played integral roles in bringing a variety of important collections to market, including Pier 24 Photographs from the Pilara Family Foundation (2023), The Wolf Family Collection (2023), On The Road: Photographs by Robert Frank from the Collection of Arthur S. Penn (2023), A Grand Vision: The David H. Arrington Collection of Ansel Adams Masterworks (2020, 2022), The Ginny Williams Collection (2020), A Beautiful Life: Photographs from the Collection of Leland Hirsch (2018), To Live With Art: Property from the Jerome & Ellen Stern Collection (2018), The World of Jean Stein: Photographs (2017), and From Generation to Generation: Important Photographs from the Ames Collection (2017).
Prior to her time in the auction world, Lucie has held a variety of roles at contemporary art galleries and sculpture parks. She earned a B.A. in Art History from Washington University in St. Louis, and is a USPAP-certified appraiser.
