David Trujillo

David Trujillo joined Bonhams Los Angeles Modern Decorative Art & Design Department in September of 2019. An experienced and well-versed professional in the auction industry, David has held previous specialist positions at Leslie Hindman Auctioneers and Paddle8, as well as acting as an appraiser, advisor and brokerage manager for Jason Preston Art Advisory and Appraisals. Prior to joining Bonhams, David served as the co-head of the 20th Century Art & Design auction and head of the Prints & Multiples auction at John Moran Auctioneers, where he was instrumental in building those auctions into bi-annual sales and expanding Moran's offerings of Modern and Contemporary art and design.

David holds a BA in Art History Honors from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated Cum Laude. He also received his MA in Art History from Notre Dame, where he studied under a full academic scholarship. David is an accredited member of the Appraisers Association of America and member of the New Art Advisors Alliance.
