Preeya Franklin

Preeya Franklin is Senior Specialist for Bonhams Impressionist & Modern Art in New York. She has a broad range of expertise ranging from Impressionism to 20th century and contemporary art. She is focused on contributing to several live and online sales each calendar year for her department, as well as private sales.

Before joining Bonhams in 2019, Preeya had a decade of experience as a gallerist. She was the founding Director of Rosenberg & Co. in New York, and has worked at Gagosian Gallery in London and Pace Gallery in New York. Preeya holds a Bachelor's degree with honors in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art and a Master's degree in History of Art and Visual Culture from the University of Oxford, as well as a Master's degree in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art.

Preeya is a licensed auctioneer and a member of ArtTable, a professional organization dedicated to advancing women leaders in the arts. She also serves on the advisory board of Less Than Half, an organization promoting women artists.
