Aimée Honig

Aimée Honig is a Senior Specialist for Impressionist & Modern Art at Bonhams in Amsterdam, where she sources business for the department's global sales in the Netherlands, Belgium and Scandinavia. She also builds relationships with international clients to manage and develop their collections.

Since joining Bonhams in London in 2017, Aimée held several positions including Head of Sale in the New York team, and Senior Specialist in London. Her notable consignments include works by Max Ernst from the Dorothea Tanning collection, and Leonora Carrington's important oil painting Operation Wednesday which sold for over $900,000, more than double its pre-sale estimate.

Previously, Aimée worked at other international auction houses and gained a Master's degree in Art Market Connoisseurship from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. She has a particular interest in the avant-garde movements from the early 20th century and Surrealist Art.
