Teresa Ybarra

Teresa Ybarra is Representative for northern Spain, covering Barcelona and Marbella. She is based in Madrid.

Throughout her career, Teresa has worked across different Fine Art departments. One of her biggest assets is her understanding of every sector of the business and her capacity to connect with clients and their needs, with a strong client network that she has cultivated over the years. She consigns items for both auction and private sales, advises established private collectors on their collections, nurtures new buyers and develops private partnerships.

Teresa is a qualified lawyer. Prior to Bonhams, she worked at Gherson Solicitors, Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira, the Spanish Federation of Antique Dealers and Christie's and Sotheby's in London.

Teresa is bilingual in English and Spanish.
