London – Diamond-studded pieces stole of the show at Bonhams Knightsbridge Jewels sale on Wednesday 15 February, forming 9 of the top 10 lots. The top lot of the sale was a Cartier diamond line bracelet, which sold for £22,950 against a pre-sale estimate of £5,000-7,000.
The 330-lot sale made a total of £812,124, with 81% sold by lot and 95% sold by value.

It certainly shows that the stones are still highly sought-after – with 9 of the top 10 being pieces comprised of the stone."

• Elsa Peretti for Tiffany: 'diamonds by the yard' necklace, 2015. Sold for £14,025.
• A natural and cultured pearl necklace. Sold for £12,112.
• A diamond two-stone ring. Sold for £11,475.
• An Amethyst Rivieré Necklace and Earrings Demi-parure dating from the19th Century. Sold for £8,287. Amethysts are the February birthstone.
