A STAG-ANTLER AND MIXED-METAL NETSUKE AND A PORCELAIN NETSUKE

Edo period (1615-1868) or Meiji era (1868-1912), 19th century
The first a flat section of a stag antler pierce carved with leaves on waves and applied with Kintaro riding a large carp in copper, brass, and shakudō, fitted with a metal ring himotoshi on the underside; the second a reclining dragon in porcelain with its head turned to his left, painted light brown with details in black
2 1/8in (5.4cm); 1 1/2in (3.8cm) wide (2).
