A large late Victorian oak and brass dinner gong

Late 19th / early 20th century, acquired by the Set Decorating Department for the third film, Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale
The circular brass Burmese gong within a carved oak frame with turned and fluted supports on reeded downswept legs, together with an associated cork and cane gong mallet (some losses), stamped BURMESE to the gong, 75.5cm wide, 39cm deep, 108cm high (29 1/2in wide, 15in deep, 42 1/2in high)
