Footnotes

Eagles:
Gary Burden designed the Eagles first album cover to open up into a four-panel poster, with the gatefold image of the band around a campfire sitting below the front and back cover images.

The famous Joshua Tree photo shoot with the Eagles, Henry Diltz and Gary Burden took place in March 1972. The album was recorded at London's Olympic Studios with producer Glyn Johns and released June 1, 1972.

Glyn Johns worked with many of the most famous rock recording acts from both the UK and abroad, such as The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, the Kinks, Eagles, Bob Dylan, The Band, Eric Clapton, The Clash, Steve Miller Band, Small Faces, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils and Joan Armatrading. Johns was known for preferring a live, natural approach to recording in the studio, and developed a method of recording drums sometimes referred to as the "Glyn Johns method".

Stephen Stills recommended Gary Burden and Henry Diltz to the Eagles, Bernie Leadon said that they "were the cool guys to have work on your album".
