A Corinthian pottery lidded pyxis
Transitional Period, between Proto-Corinthian and Corinthian, circa 640-625 B.C.
The bowl a natural colour, the lid decorated with linear decoration in added black, enlivened with purple 4.8cm high, 7.3cm diam, ink inscribed 'MPB 141b' on the underside of the base
