The Vacheron Constantin Saltarello is a stunning example of fine watchmaking. Introduced at the close of the 20th century, it was the brand's first successful fusion of jumping hours and retrograde minutes in a single wristwatch. Limited in production, it was offered in yellow, white, and pink gold, with only 200 pieces crafted in pink gold.
Beyond its technical prowess, the Saltarello captivates with its hand-guilloché rose gold dial and fan-shaped lugs, which enhance its refined aesthetics. Flipping the watch over reveals yet another marvel—the ultra-thin automatic caliber 1120/2, visible through the sapphire caseback. This exquisitely finished movement boasts a Gyromax balance and an open-worked oscillating weight shaped like the Maltese cross.
An extraordinary timepiece that masterfully combines artistry and mechanical ingenuity, the Saltarello holds a special place in the hearts of discerning collectors.
