With coil-sprung throwing arm terminating in two target cups, the upper for high balls and the side for low, arm-stopper cushion constructed of an early form of rubber, sprung trip-catch, revolving drum locked for stationary shooting by a wing-headed nut, the base cast with 'M.E. CARD. CAZENOVIA. N.Y. U.S.A. PAT·D MAY 7. 78. APRIL. 22. 79.: mounted on an old wooden board; together with six balls of blue-tinged glass with chequered surfaces (7)
