A Very Rare 100-Bore Flintlock Box-Lock Seven-Barrel Pepperbox Revolver
Circa 1800

With bright hand rotated turn-off barrels numbered to correspond with the breech-block, the latter engraved with two lines of foliate decoration, border engraved action with space for signature in an oval against a martial trophy on one side, and on the other with similar decoration and a starburst behind the pan (light pitting), engraved thumbpiece safety-catch also locking the steel, steel-spring with rollers, border engraved cock (top jaw and screw replaced), trigger-guard decorated with a star on the bow, figured flat-sided butt with vacant silver escutcheon, London proof marks
