A Cased 44-Bore Flintlock Box-Lock Over-And-Under Tap-Action Pistol With Spring Bayonet

With reblued turn-off barrels numbered '2' and '3' respectively at the breeches and fitted with reblued spring bayonet beneath, the top barrel stamped with Irish registration number DU-1413 for county Dublin, border engraved brass action (engraving partly refreshed) numbered to correspond with the barrels and signed against a martial trophy on each side, ring neck cock (top jaw and screw replaced), reblued engraved thumbpiece safety-catch also locking the steel, reblued sliding trigger guard also forming the safety-catch and decorated with a flower-head on the bow, silver escutcheon engraved with owner's initials, and flat-sided wooden butt: in modern lined and fitted wooden case with accessories including leather-covered powder-flask, Tower private proof marks
