Pour cette 10e édition, 2 783 athlètes, dont 48 professionnels, s'élancent sur les 226 km du parcours. 500 concurrents termineront hors délai ou abandonneront. Les autres décrocheront le statut de « finisher ». Ici, un participant lors de l'épreuve de natation. Le triathlon pousse ces sportifs aux confins de leurs limites physiques et mentales.

In 2005, the Nice triathlon became the Ironman Nice. For this 10th edition, 2,783 athletes, including 48 professionals, set off on the 226 km course. Around 500 competitors would abandon or miss the cutoff time. The others earn the prized title of "finisher." Here, a participant during the swimming leg. Triathlon pushes athletes to the edge of their physical and mental limits.
