A SHIBAYAMA STYLE INLAID GOLD LACQUER TRAY

Meiji period
Of rectangular form, decorated with a scene depicting a gentleman with a hawk, an archer and a further figure pointing at two cranes in flight, all seated beside a meandering river in a mountainous landscape, within a border of kiku sprays and cloud designs, set on a metal foot, signed Kozan.
36.5cm (14 3/8in) wide.
