A PAIR OF CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL AND GILT BRONZE 'BIRD' INCENSE BURNERS

Each bird seated with the legs tucked beneath, the neck arched and head slightly lowered the wings and covers forming a detachable cover, details of feathers formed on the head, neck and upper legs, with scroll patterns over the wings in lapis blue, red and yellow against a turquoise ground. 20cm (8in) high (4).
