A Meissen part tea and coffee service, circa 1760

Each piece moulded with rococo cartouches in low relief and painted with birds and fowl in gilt-edged landscape vignettes and scattered flowers, gilt dentil rims, the teacups with a flower spray inside, comprising:
a coffee pot and cover
a teapot and associated cover
a milk jug (lacking cover)
a sugar bowl and cover
a tea canister and cover
six large teacups and saucers
one small teacup and saucer
four coffee cups and saucers, the coffee pot and cover: 27.5cm high, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, impressed numerals, incised R to coffee pot (one saucer restuck, a coffee cup with a haircrack to handle, tea canister cover restuck, some minor rim chips, some wear to gilt rims) (31)
