A pair of Meissen teabowls and saucers, circa 1730

Painted in the manner of J.E. Stadler with pavilions and indianische Blumen issuing from rockwork, iron-red double-line borders to rims, the teabowls: 4.2cm high; the saucers: 12.8cm diam., crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue to saucers inside footrim and to one teabowl, incised "/" inside footrims (two small restored chips to teabowl rims) (4)
