A Hispano-Moresque dish, Seville (Triana), circa 1525-1550

The border decorated in copper lustre with almond shapes against a dot-and-stalk pattern ground, the well with a band of pseudo-calligraphy and raised boss to the centre, 34.3cm diam. (two restored chips to rim)
