A Hispano-Moresque dish, Seville (Triana), circa 1500-1525

The border with slanting gadroons alternately filled with solid lustre and whorls, the well with a band of pseudo-calligraphic script and two bands of solid lustre enclosing the rounded boss decorated with a tulip, the reverse with concentric bands of lustre, 32.7cm diam.
