A pair of Saint-Cloud tobacco jars and covers in a fitted wooden travelling case, circa 1740-50

Of cylindrical form with moulded vertical fluting, the flat covers with corresponding fluting issuing from a flared conical knop, in a fitted wooden case with blue silk lining, the jars: 14cm high including covers; the case: 16.7cm high; 23.5cm across; 13.4cm deep (5)
