Footnotes

Teisco:
The company was founded in Tokyo in the late 1940s. In the 1960s they introduced a series of eccentric-looking but affordable guitars, such as the TG-64. When Rory was on the road, especially in the USA, he would search in old pawn shops for these types of guitars, such as models by Kay, Harmony, Tokai and Teisco.

One particular feature of the TG-64 was the hook-shaped headstock with the unusual four and two-a-side tuners configuration. The two control knobs were set into the black anodised section of the two-piece pickguard.
