Footnotes

Rory bought this guitar while recording in San Francisco in late 1977 for his Notes From San Francisco album. He can be seen playing it in Polaroids taken by producer Eliot Mazer during the recording sessions at His Master's Wheels studios. Rory is quoted saying: "The last one I bought is an old Les Paul Junior; you know the one with one pickup. A very good guitar, with a rich sound."

..."And I used a Les Paul Junior on the rhythm part of "Kid Gloves"
and also the rhythm part of "Walkin' Wounded."

- Rory Gallagher, Guitar Player Magazine, 1991.
