Launched in 2019, Code 11.59 was a brand new collection by Audemars Piguet, with a completely innovative design that had been in the works for over a decade, and one that then CEO François-Henry Bennahmias called "the biggest launch since 1972," the year the iconic first Royal Oak was released. With its peculiar octagonal mid case, and unusual crystal that is domed down on two radiuses, allowing the dial to be clearly legible at any angle. Of the first collection of 13 references, the crowning achievement of this launch is the current example, a white gold minute repeater "Supersonnerie" that appears deceptively simple on first appearance but houses one of the most incredible complications that can appear in a wristwatch. With its "fumé" or smoked-blue enamel dial, the watch exudes a simple confidence, with only the lever on the case side that activates the complication.

The term "Supersonnerie" is used due to the distinctive construction of the watch which enhances the volume of the chimes. Unlike the conventional method where the gongs are fixed to the main plate, in this design, they are connected to a mechanism functioning as a soundboard, resulting in increased loudness. Additionally, the back cover of the case is designed with openings to facilitate the unobstructed transmission of sound. The current lot, in brand new condition and with its full suite of accessories, is a daring yet subtle timepiece that celebrates the future of Audemars Piguet design. It is the best example of the Code 11.59 family that will no doubt grow in stature over the years in the minds of collectors and enthusiasts alike.


愛彼在2019年推出全新系列Code 11.59，乘載著超過十年心血所研發的創新設計，當時的品牌執行長François-Henry Bennahmias甚至將之譽為1972年皇家橡樹登場之後最重要的創作。獨樹一幟的八角形中層錶殼，搭配罕見的雙曲面藍寶石水晶鏡面設計，讓面盤無論從任何角度看上去皆清晰分明。在最初所發表的13個款式中，最具技術性的正是本拍品 – Supersonnerie白金三問腕錶。乍看之下似乎相當簡潔單純，實際上背後卻蘊藏著高級製錶界最精深的複雜功能。

在煙燻藍色琺瑯面盤妝點下，腕錶散發出優雅的自信。Supersonnerie超問錶之名源於其內部獨創結構能夠更進一步地加強打簧報時的音量。與傳統問錶將音簧固定在基板上的做法不同，超問錶將音簧與一個有著共鳴作用的特殊零件相連，進而創造出更飽滿的音量。此外，底蓋也經過特殊處理，數個鏤空孔洞確保報時音質能毫無阻礙地傳送出來。本拍品品相全新且附帶完整配件，是個充滿創新又細膩的作品，象徵著愛彼最具未來性的設計。做為Code 11.59系列中最傑出的款式，Supersonnerie毫無疑問會在日後逐漸成為頂尖藏家心中的瑰寶。
