A GILT-BRONZE FRAGMENT OF BUDDHA'S HAND
Ming Dynasty, 15th-16th century
Heavily cast and richly gilt as a large, hollow left hand held in vitarka mudra, the elegantly poised fingers naturalistically rendered, the joints and nails finely detailed.
30 cm (11 3/4 in) long
