A PALE CELADON JADE WATER DROPPER IN THE SHAPE OF A BIXIE
Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)
Portrayed in a crouching position, legs tucked under and head forward, with bulging eyes and mouth agape, a pair of horns above heavy curled eyebrows, tuffs of hair terminating in a bifurcated tail, the back with a small circular aperture opening to a hollow interior, the stone an even pale celadon colour.
9.5 cm (3 3/4 in) long
