Dial: Salmon tapisserie grid, applied polished square hour markers with luminous dot inserts, outer black minute divisions, date aperture between 4 and 5, sunken engine-turned subsidiary dials at 3, 6 and 9 for running seconds, 30 minute and 12 hour recording, polished baton hands with luminous inserts, centre chronograph hand

Footnotes

In 1992, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Royal Oak, Audemars Piguet introduced limited edition Royal Oak with salmon dial for the first time. In the early 2000 was reintroduced the coveted and enticing salmon dial in two new models, a platinum perpetual calendar and a white gold chronograph like the present example.

From afar the case may look like stainless steel but the silver hue of the white gold case and bracelet is unmistakable and is a perfect frame for the glamorous salmon dial. The square luminous markers are also indication that the case is in precious metal (the steel case chronographs have baton luminous markers).
