Arabic manuscript on paper, 269 leaves plus 2 fly-leaves, 15 lines to the page written in naskhi script in black ink, Persian interlinear translation in shikasteh in red, inner margins ruled in black and gold, verse-endings marked by gold and polychrome rosettes, sura headings written in riqa' script in red on a gold ground within cartouches, gold and polychrome verse markers in the margins, opening double-page illuminated frontispiece, later Qajar marginal texts (on the benefits of reciting each sura) in shikasteh within gold cartouches, main text followed by invocations and prayers in riqa', in floral lacquer binding
225 x 150 mm.
