十八世紀 青白玉雙鳳紙鎮
In Chinese culture, the phoenix, known as feng huang 鳳凰, encompasses the males feng and females huang. The two-fold expression of feng huang alludes to sexual pairing, symbolising the inseparable companionship of both the feng and huang. This concept underscores the profound cultural significance attached to the harmonious union of masculine and feminine elements as represented in the present lot.
