Footnotes

Provenance
Property from a private collection, London.

'The element of desire plays an important part in his work. Many of Keyt's pictures seek to capture the moments of intimacy and longing between lovers. Striving to understand this state of mind, Keyt probes the world of physical and meditative desire. The eyes of his figures often reflect their feelings and their state of mind. As their eyes align with each other, their gazes interlock. These glimpses suggest moments of rare and special intimacy, as messaged are sent and thoughts are shared.
