official bottling, lot no. C-B-16-79, bottle #2188. Detached necktag reads, "In appreciation of your support and friendship throughout the year, we have enclosed a very special bottle of bourbon. It has been carefully produced following the same high standards of Jim Beam, yet it's decidedly different. This bourbon is not for sale. You can't buy it anywhere. It's Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey personally selected by Booker Noe, grandson of Jim Beam, and Master Distiller for the James B. Beam Distilling Company. It has been bottled uncut -- straight from the barrel and at the proof it has attained through the natural aging process. This batch is 120.9 proof. Connoisseurs of fine bourbon will find this bottle's contents to be in a class by itself whether enjoyed over ice or with a splash of branch water. Due to the very unique quality of this bourbon, production was limited to less than 2,400 bottles for 1986. It comes to you with our compliments and our wishes for a great 1987.

Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories excluding Arms & Armour, Coins and Medals, Motor Cars, Motorcycles, Wine & Whisky
28% on the first $50,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of $50,000 up to and including $1,000,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of $1,000,000 up to and including $6,000,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of $6,000,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
Payment Notices
