Footnotes

Provenance
L.W. Collection
Their sale, Galerie Fievez, Brussels, 18-19 December 1928, either lot 26 or 27 (as Colijn de Coter)

The works were sold in 1928 with a certificate from Dr. Max Friedländer who ascribed them in full to Colijn de Coter. Three lots of five roundels were offered in this 1928 auction and probably formed part of a larger altarpiece.
