The rippled handle over a large bevelled glass inspection panel and four futher panels between moulded top and base, the white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with blued steel moon hands set over a subsidiary alarm dial in a frosted gilt mask. The silvered lever platform escapement with bimetallic balance rack striking and repeating the hours and quarters on two coiled blued steel gongs. Ticking, striking, with operational alarm, together with a double-ended key. 18cms (7ins) high
