The case surmounted by a large bevelled glass escapement observation window framed by a stepped top and rippled cornice over glazed sides, supported on a large moulded base with brass button feet. The 3.75-inch brass engine turned Roman dial signed Molyneux 42 Lombard St London between X and II, under blued steel moon hands, with brass sight ring.
The single chain fusee movement with maintaining power, jewelled English lever platform escapement and monometallic balance, the back plate repeat signed Molyneux 42 Lombard St London. Ticking with a case key and a winding key. 24cms (9ins) high
