A late 19th century brass bound mahogany table clock with rare shaped plates

Haines and H. Knight
The case surmounted by a small gilt pineapple finial on a stepped geometric brass bound top above frond handles and brass fish scale frets to the sides, the front with recessed brass bound quadrants, on four ball feet.
The silvered Roman dial signed Haines Fecit to the centre, under blued steel moon hands. The twin chain fusee movement with small anchor escapement (spanning 5.5 teeth) and shaped circular plates, the front plate stamped H. Knight, rack striking on a bell. Ticking and striking with two case keys and a crank key.
