Oil on canvas painting of the ship Providence signed "J.W. Williams" at lower right in a gilt molded frame, together with a blown and engraved lead glass urn and cover, the walls inscribed "MAY THE GOOD SHIP, PROVIDENCE, / AND HER COMPANIONS, / REACH THE DESIRED PORT, / IN SAFETY." opposite the initials I.O. in a laurel wreath reserve, the foot wheel-engraved "BOUCHER & CO / LONDON", sight, 71cm wide, 58cm high (28in wide, 23 1/2in high).
