Fourteen Chippendale-style Mahogany Dining Chairs,
20th century.
Twelve side chairs and two armchairs with shell-form crest with scrolled ends above a wide pierced splat composed of ribbon and tassel motifs, the seats upholstered over the rail with leather, their trapezoidal frame having a serpentine front supported by cabriole legs with carved knees, ball and claw feet, and recessed casters, largest, 66cm wide, 63cm deep, 104cm high (26 3/4in wide, 25 1/2in deep, 41 1/2in high).
