Footnotes

Provenance:
Offered directly by Hand & Lock Embroidery, who acquired MBA Costumes Ltd in the mid-2000s.

According to the MBA Costumes Ltd production list, the company began work on the quidditch jumpers for 'Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets' in August 2001 (including Lots 81 & 82), four months before the first film had been released theatrically. Each jumper was bespoke for each character in their house colours, to be worn beneath their quidditch robes. In 'Chamber Of Secrets', the quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin is disrupted by a rogue bludger which breaks Harry's arm. It is later discovered that the danger was caused by Dobby the house-elf.
