Blackadder: A Prop Portrait Of 'Queenie' From 'Blackadder's A Christmas Carol',

1988,
the printed photographic portrait of Queenie (Miranda Richardson) applied to canvas on stretcher, with some hand-finishing, deliberate damage to the queen's face, unframed,
34in x 44 1/2in (86.5cm x 113cm)

Footnotes

Provenance:
Gifted to the current owner by screenwriter Richard Curtis while attending a live taping of Blackadder. The vendor correctly guessed the number of re-takes required for the painting-punching sequence and received this portrait as a prize for getting the right answer.

In the one-off festive special lampooning Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol', Rowan Atkinson's character reacts to the abolishing of Christmas by punching a portrait of Queenie, only to punch the hapless Baldrick (Tony Robinson) who was standing behind it.
