HANKEY ESQ: DIED 16 JUNE 1815 AGED 72, 3rd: 1811, the black enamel band inscribed ANNE HANKEY DIED 5 AUG 1811 AGED 62, 4th: 1809, the black enamel band inscribed STEPHEN HALL ESQ: DIED 14 AUG 1809 AGED 82 and Mrs MARY HALL: DIED 12 MAY 1809 AGED 76, 5th: The black enamel band inscribed IN MEMORY OF, within an engraved floral border, one section of the inner hoop hinged, opening to reveal a small inner compartment, 6th: 1806, The black enamel band inscribed J.P.HANKEY ESQ & ALDN. DIED 6 MAY 1807 AGED 36, within a white enamel border, 7th: The black enamel band inscribed THOS HANKEY ESQ. O.B 13 SEPT 1793 ÆT: 53, within a white enamel border, all mounted in gold, 1st with maker's mark SG and London hallmark, 2nd with par, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th with maker's mark and partial UK hallmark, various sizes
