of shallow rounded form with slightly everted rim, engraved and decorated with a central roundel containing geometric interlace and a bands of intertwined design, surrounded by an interlaced rosette on a ground of geometric interlace, inscriptions in Arabic and Hebrew to base
20.1 cm. diam.

Inscriptions: (in Arabic) mimma 'umila bi-rasm ... mahmud al-mishmishani, 'One of what was made for ... Mahmud al-Mishmishani'; and (in Hebrew) the name Yitzhaq Shalom, 'Isaac Shalom.'
