each of flaring form on a plain base engraved with vases and floral interlace, the outer beaker on a splayed foot with similar decoration also including cherub heads, the inner and outer beakers with lids, old partial label to interior inscribed 'vases en [bois de] Giroflier ayant appartenu a [Tipu] Saib, Souverain dans l'Inde, vaincu [...] les Anglais en 1799'
