For another very similar aryballos by the same Group, see P. Blome (ed.), Orient und frühes Griechenland, Antikenmuseum Basel + Sammlmung Ludwig, 1990, p.89, no. 134. The Warrior Group is acknowledged as being the producer of some of the 'best' Early Corinthian aryballoi, due to their 'mixture of narrative and conventional (animal) subject matter, and the rich but neat sprinkling of assorted filling ornament' (D.A. Amyx, Corinthian Vase-painting of the Archaic Period, vol. II, Berkeley, 1988, p.366.)
