A LARGE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL LOBED BASIN
17th/18th century
The rounded sides rising from a short foot to an everted rim divided into six petals, the interior decorated with pavilions in a lake scene, all encircled by meandering lotus scrolls and flower sprays issuing from pierced rocks atop the rim, the exterior with horses striding on top of waves, all reserved against a bright turquoise ground.
41cm (16 1/8in) diam.
