A RARE PARCEL GILT-BRONZE MODEL OF A CHIMERA
Warring States Period/Eastern Han Dynasty (475 BC-220 AD)
Well cast in a striding posture defined by an arched body trailed by a long curling tail and flanked by cast and incised wings, the head detailed with two horns above protruding eyes and a long, upturned snout exposing its sharp fangs, stand. 8.5cm (3 2/8in) long. (2).
