A PAINTED POTTERY FIGURE OF A GUARDIAN
Wei Dynasty (386-550 AD)
The standing foreigner wearing full armour and a helmet framing the face with prominent features set in a scowl, the right arm held at the side whilst the left hand resting on a long shield in front. 30cm (11 7/8in) high.
