A Meissen beaker and saucer, circa 1740-45

The beaker painted with a continuous chinoserie scene heightened in gilding and applied with an ear-shaped handle, the saucer with a similar scene within two iron-red concentric circles, gilt scrollwork borders to the rims, the beaker: 6.7cm high; the saucer: 13.2cm diam., crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, impressed numeral and gilt 7.
