A rare Meissen armorial teacup from the Sulkowski service, circa 1736

The rim and handle moulded with basketwork, painted with the arms of Sulkowski and scattered indianische Blumen, together with a Meissen saucer, 1924-34, en suite, the cup: 4.3cm high; the saucer: 12.5cm diam., crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue (with dot on the saucer), the cup with impressed Dreher's mark of an asterisk, the saucer with impressed and incised numerals and painter's numeral 3. (saucer restuck, handle restuck and chipped at base) (2)
